The perfect example of the person who does so is Mordechai Laufer, who had worked in the merchant industry for the last fifteen years. But just making a living isn’t enough: “I wanted to be a good example for my 5 kids”, – Laufer explains. “So I knew I had to be more than just a salesman. I went to school and studied education, for the purpose of changing the world from the place where it all starts”.

New educational method

The realization of the importance of education had driven Mordechai Laufer to create a new approach for the young people of America. “I sensed a huge gap between these 2 generations, and the gap is going to be even wider with the next one, so we need to find a way to connect”. This desire gave the idea of creating meeting centers for people from different generations. In the Mordechai Laufer center of connections the youth are getting to know better some older people.

What is the importance of these centers?

Mordechai Laufer already noticing that the connection is a game-changer. “The youngsters are more clever than we think, they realize quickly that the older people went through a lot and that the can benefit from it”. The Mordechai Laufer centers are popping around various quarters of New York, opening a new path for communication.
